James H. Wick
After graduating from Suffolk Law School in 1973, Jim Wick founded Wick & Maddocks and has been specializing in the practice of real estate law and transactions ever since.
He also continues to handle a variety of additional legal matters.
Jeffrey J. Wick
Jeff Wick joined Wick & Maddocks in 2003 and concentrates his law practice in real estate transactions; wills, trusts and estate planning; probate and trust administration; elder law; and general commercial, business and corporate law and transactions.
Prior to joining Wick & Maddocks, Jeff was a venture capital investment professional in New York City. Jeff holds JD (Juris Doctor) and MBA degrees from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Vermont.
Jeff is a member of the City of Burlington School Board, where he presently serves as Vice Chair.
Jeff co-coaches the Edmunds Middle School math club. Jeff taught business law at Champlain College, and previously served as a trustee of the City of Burlington’s Pension Board (5 years), a trustee of the Burlington International Airport (4 years), and as a member of the City of Burlington’s Tax Appeals Board (3 years).
Jeff is most proud of his family including his wife, Elzy, and their three boys, Alex, Daniel and Sam.
Donald B. Maddocks, Retired
Don practiced law in Vermont for over 20 years. A graduate of the University of Vermont, he served the area as a school teacher, guidance counselor, and coach for 14 years and was admitted to the Vermont bar after completing his clerkship.
He remains active in area sports activities and is married with three children and two grandchildren.
